Footwear4u is a trading name of GMDC Global Ltd – a specialist clothing and footwear ecommerce retailer, based in Newbury Berkshire. The business was started and is still operated by John Pemberton – an ecommerce expert and fashion officianardo.

John grew up in Cheshire, and studied Geography at University of Manchester. After living the student life, John gained his commercial experience working at a graduate level for Tesco and PC World (part of Dixons Stores Group). John was reponsible for the high level marketing of games and business software for their PC World Division. It was during this time that John homed his commercial skills to enable him to run a complex business. The business is today very much centred on the customer experience, from purchasing, through to receiving goods. Products sold are of a high quality and offer exceptional value for money. The business operates a sophistocated inventory management system that controls the supply of goods across all the business platform operated, including this website, Amazon, Ebay, Rakuten and other specialist sites across the world.

Over the years, Footwear4U has become established is selling some of the worlds most famous brands, including: Dr Martens, Rocket Dog, Fly (London), Hunter, Grinders, Blundstone, Converse, Mustang, Bedroom Athletics, Roamers and many more. All goods are sourced directly with the brand owners or approved UK wholesellers, guaranting authenticity.

We take great care when preparing your items for sale. We check the sizes in the box to make sure they match what you have ordered, and we check for obvious manufacturing issues.

All items are shipped with quality mail-tough packaging, and with an online tracking facility. Our standard UK shipping is 48 Hr delivery time and upto 1 day handling time. If you order before 3pm, there is a 95% chance that the order will be shipped same day, as our collection time is 4pm. If you need an item shipped same day, please call us and we will try our best to accommodate you.

International shipping is undertaken via DPD and DHL for all EU countries, and selected non-EU countries, such as USA, Canada. Delivery times are from 2 working days for EU, and 3-4 for USA/Canada. If DHL is not viable, we use Royal Mail International Tracked. These services are trackable door to door and take from 7-14 working days.

We operate a no quibble 30 day returns policy. Refunds will be given provided items are returned back in their original condition as NEW, UNWORN (i.e. as received) with their original unmarked/undamaged box and swing tags. The returned item should be in re-sellable condition. If a worn item is sent back, we reserve the right to refuse the refund.

Please do not apply tape directly to the item’s box. Wrap the item securely in original packaging or alternative suitable packaging. Boxes that have tape or stamps on them will be charged at £5 to cover replacement packaging.

You will need to arrange and pay for the returns method of your choice (trackable service recommended) for correctly supplied, unwanted items. We cannot accept responsibility for undelivered items. In the event of loss of a returned item, its sender’s responsibility to pursue a claim. Please note that we do not offer a free return service.

We do offer exchanges for any order. If you wish to exchange for a different size or style, please write the details on the return paperwork, as indicated. All returned orders will be refunded within 2-3 working days of receipt by us. Please contact us if you have any issue with your order or need any further help.

Please include your original paperwork in with your parcel, so we can identify you. Failure to do this will result in a significant delay to your refund.

We refund original postage costs for UK shipped items only.
